Drumroll, Please, for the Top 9 Items You Must Have:
1. Pink--in makeup, in clothing, pink is in this season. Try pairing with black and white graphic prints, brown or navy for a little different look.
2. One-Shoulder--show off those collarbones, ladies. Most everyone has lovely shoulders, it's skin that you can show at a cocktail event or for evening, or even casual, beach or cruisewear, we've seen the formal trend in one-shoulder dresses.
3. Snakeskin accessory--but please, only one at a time. A clutch, or shoes, would be lovely. We saw some navy patent snakeskin pumps, bags and clutches, as well as scarves for a soft goods touch of reptile.
4. Statement Shoes--platforms are in, Louboutins in black patent, navy patent Guccis, even yellow or pink, orange wedges with cork soles. We saw lots of shoe looks we love, and a gal can't have too many shoes!
5. Ruffles--flattering on everyone, don'tcha think? A center ruffle blouse, a ruffled jabot on a colorful silk print top, a ruffled cardigan (esp. in pink) are lovely options. Even a ruffled leather shoulder bag or clutch gives a little girly touch and polish to an otherwise serious suit.
6. Carry-All Bag--a hobo bag or slouch in pink snakeskin, yessssssss. I know they hurt your shoulders, but that's if you carry your whole life in your bag. Pare it down and put some in a makeup bag you leave at your desk or gym bag, or in your briefcase, that's what all those pockets are for!
7. Colorful Cardigans--Caitlin wore her lime green silk cardigan to the show. Yellow or pink, or brights, prints and stripes are all right for right now. Perfect for the air-conditioned South, beach or evening.
8. Graphic Prints--Pucci is not dead, he's BACK!! Bold graphic looks, paisleys, large scale prints, in cotton, knits and silks and the ever-present, ever-stylish black and white are all big this season.
9. Bold Jewelry--here it is the bigger the better... Break out those Chanel earrings or the chunky necklace you haven't worn (and were thinking of regifting). Big gold jacket buttons, for nautical style, necklace tops, and chunky rings are fun ways and inexpensive changes anyone can make. Go a little glitzy, they're just accessories.
